Okay, put on your thinking cap and let's figure out where that other sphere is located. Remember the description included coal dust, bits of coal and a coal stove, so it must be near the mine. It also has a sloping ceiling...what do we know that slopes around here? It will come to you, I'm sure...I can wait. <whistles a tune>. You are right! Any room under the steep metal slide would have a sloped ceiling. Fist bump! We're headed back to the Slide Room via the Mirror Express.
Check yourself! You need the timber, rope and lamp…and nothing else. Use the inventory command to see what you are carrying and then take accordingly.
>turn on lamp
The lamp is now on.

>touch mirror
There is a rumble from deep within the earth, and the room shakes.
The game has been known to drop you into the Atlantis Room at this point. Up and north will get you back to the Mirror Room.

Slide Room
So...now what? The entrance to the room is down there, somewhere. We can't stop once we start to go down the slide, so we need a way to slowly go down part of the ramp. Good thing we have the rope. Now we need something to tie it to. Of course! The old man, I mean the timber from Scene 24!
>drop timber
Dropped.
>tie rope to timber
The rope is fastened to a broken timber.
The rope dangles down the slide.
I guess we just live right.
>down
As you descend, you realize that the rope is slippery from the grime of the coal chute and that your grasp will not last long.
Good
thing you aren't carrying anything else with you, as extra weight will
cause you to lose your grasp on the slippery rope and ride the slide.
[Slide #1] This is an uncomfortable spot within the coal chute. The rope to which you are clinging can be seen rising into the darkness above. There is more rope dangling below you.
>down
[Slide #2] This is another spot within the coal chute. Above you the rope climbs into the darkness. The end of the rope is dangling five feet beneath you.
Geez...where the heck is that room?
>down
[Slide #3] You have reached the end of your rope. Below you is darkness as the chute makes a sharp turn. On the east here is a small ledge which you might be able to stand on.
Whew!
>east
[Slide Ledge] This is a narrow ledge abutting the coal chute, in which a rope can be seen passing downward. Behind you, to the south, is a small room.
>south
[Sooty Room] This is a small room with rough walls, and a ceiling which slopes steeply from north to south. There is coal dust covering almost everything, and little bits of coal are scattered around the only exit, which is a narrow passage to the north. In one corner of the room is an old coal stove which lights the room with a cherry red glow. There is a very narrow crack on the north wall. On the floor sits a red crystal sphere.
Yahoo! Another sphere!
>take sphere
Taken.
>look into sphere
As you peer into the sphere, a strange vision takes shape of a distant room, which can be clearly described...
This is the living room. There is a door to the east.To
the west, there is a wooden door with strange gothic lettering, which appears
to be nailed shut.
The living room...so the red sphere sees where the white sphere is, while the white sphere sees where the blue sphere is located, and the blue sphere led us to the red sphere. The circle is complete.
>north
Slide Ledge
No rope here...time to slide.

>up

>turn off lamp
The lamp is now off.
>put treasure in case
>save
